This 1-day programme is for reach truck operators who’ve already completed MESH’s 2-day certification or equivalent training programmes and are due to renew. It refreshes key safety protocols and reassesses operational skill — delivered in-house, at your site, on your own equipment.
Reach truck certification and driver cards don’t last indefinitely, and working in racking environments day after day makes it easy for small habits to drift. This refresher revisits stability principles, hazard awareness and safe operating behaviour, and reassesses operators against them, following the same structure as MESH’s forklift refresher.
To join this course, participants should have previously completed reach truck certification and be able to drive a reach truck without assistance. If your team doesn’t meet this, MESH’s team can advise on the right starting point.
The course refreshes and reassesses:
Training combines theory lecture, practical training, case study and Q&A, with both theory and practical assessment.
Participants are assessed by questionnaire and practical test at your facility. On successful completion, MESH issues renewed certification and a trained driver card.
MESH’s team delivers the full day on-site, using your own reach truck and racking layout, so the refresher reflects the actual equipment and environment operators work in. The course is HRD Corp claimable.
