This 1-day programme gives powered pallet truck (PPT) operators and material handling personnel the classroom knowledge and hands-on skill to operate a PPT safely. It’s delivered entirely in-house, at your site, on your own equipment.
Powered pallet trucks are a different piece of equipment to a forklift or reach truck, with their own stability characteristics, hazards and operating discipline — this course is sized and written specifically for PPT operation, not adapted from a longer forklift or reach truck course.
By the end of the course, participants will understand:
Training combines theory lecture, practical training, case study and Q&A, with both theory and practical assessment.
Participants are assessed through classroom instruction and hands-on practical testing at your facility. On successful completion of both theory and practical assessment, MESH issues certification and a trained driver card, valid for 2 years.
MESH’s team delivers the full day on-site, using your own PPT, so operators train and are assessed on the equipment they’ll actually be using. The course is HRD Corp claimable — MESH’s team can confirm current claim details for your organisation.
