MESH’s Safe Handling of MHE Trucks suite covers forklift, reach, powered pallet and very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks, plus a Train-The-Trainer programme for companies that want to build their own in-house training capability. Every course in this suite is delivered in-house, at your facility — classroom instruction and hands-on practical assessment, led by MESH’s team, using your own equipment and your own operators. There are no public intakes, no open classes, and no seats to book.
Full operator programmes (2 days). First-time certification for forklift and reach truck operators — classroom theory plus supervised practical assessment at your site.
Refreshers (1 day). For forklift and reach truck operators who are already trained and certified, and need to renew before their driver card and certification lapse.
1-day Power Pallet/VNA Trucks programmes. Equipment-specific training for powered pallet trucks and VNA trucks.
Train-The-Trainer (2 days). For companies that want their own people qualified to run MHE operator training and evaluate competence in-house, rather than relying on an external provider for every intake.

MESH’s trainers come to you. Classroom instruction and practical assessment both take place at your facility, on your own equipment, so operators are assessed on the trucks they’ll actually be driving day to day. Courses combine theory lecture, case study discussion and hands-on practical testing; certification is issued on successful completion, and — for equipment where MESH issues one — a trained driver card as well. The suite is HRD Corp claimable; MESH’s team can confirm current claim details for your organisation.
No. Only the forklift and reach truck 1-day courses are refreshers, and they’re only open to operators who already hold a previous certification for that equipment. The powered pallet truck and VNA courses are stand-alone 1-day operator programmes — not refreshers, and not shortened versions of a longer course.
No. Every course in this suite is delivered in-house, at your premises, for your own team. MESH does not run these courses at its own centre or as scheduled public intakes.

You’ll receive a MESH training certificate and, for most equipment, a trained driver card — not a government-issued licence. It’s an easily verifiable record of completed training that clients sometimes call a “licence,” though it isn’t a government one.
